TrueCruel_Nobody 35 Posted September 23, 2016 Hi guys! I have a weird issue since the update 1.64. I am not able to connecto via RCON (EPM RCon tool) to my server. Before the update it was working. What I already tried: - double checked the beserver.cfg - downloaded the new beserver.so from BE - ports are also opened properly Does anyone know what could cause this or even experience the same? I am running the server on a rented Ubuntu vServer. Thanks!
tenob 1 Posted September 23, 2016 It's the same in my server.
tenob 1 Posted September 24, 2016 PHP-CLI also does not work. Any others that use Linux with the same problem?
tenob 1 Posted September 24, 2016 Before I did not put the path to battleye on the command line. Put the beserver.cfg files and filters within the default directory that was: ... /server_root/battleye Now the default location is /battleye/launch. Putting the files in this directory everything works. Note: Specifying the path to the previous location in the command line did not work, but in other directories operate normally.
John Macclain 0 Posted October 2, 2016 Have you checked that the ports haven't changed in your cfg?
Felix37 1 Posted October 8, 2016 I am also having this issue! Does anybody know why it's not possible to connect to BattlEye after the 1.64 update? I'm running linux and I have all the required info in my beserver.cfg and the beserver.so I get this in my rpt: 13:17:45 BattlEye Server: Initialized (v1.213)

JasperRab 26 Posted January 6, 2017 @DarkPhoinix how did you solve this? I'm trying to setup BE again but it just doesn't want to work. I got just as you the two folders with beserver.cfg and beserver.so, what is that 2nd BEServer.cfg you have?
Grim5667 3 Posted June 9, 2018 So did you ever find a fix to this? I have just got a dedicated linux server and the rcon files turns active but I cannot connect using epm?

Dedmen 2691 Posted June 25, 2018 Probably a different issue than back in 2016. Recently (Several months ago) Battleye switched to a seperate configurable RCON port.
varrkan_ua 6 Posted September 20, 2018 Has the same issue with a 1.84 Linux server. No any port restrictions but still can not connect with a RCon. Tried a different ports - the same. I've created beserver.cfg file in a battleye folder, copy of it in a battleye/launch folder (this one has been renamed while server starting to beserver_active_XXXXXXX.cfg, so I can suppose what it's used and depath correctly configured). beserver.cfg file contains RConPort 23006 and RConPassword mypass in it. But I can't connect ot server nor from the localhost not from any other network. No iptables or any other FW on a host machine here is a netstat output netstat -atunp | grep arma3server (Not all processes could be identified, non-owned process info will not be shown, you would have to be root to see it all.) tcp 32 0 192.168.0.10:48702 217.147.95.136:443 CLOSE_WAIT 14178/arma3server tcp 32 0 192.168.0.10:59038 217.147.95.135:443 CLOSE_WAIT 14177/arma3server tcp 32 0 192.168.0.10:35058 52.22.81.193:443 CLOSE_WAIT 14177/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2316 0.0.0.0:* 14178/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:59470 0.0.0.0:* 14177/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2302 0.0.0.0:* 14177/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2303 0.0.0.0:* 14177/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2304 0.0.0.0:* 14177/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:2305 0.0.0.0:* 14177/arma3server udp 0 0 0.0.0.0:23006 0.0.0.0:* 14177/arma3server rcon -H localhost -p 23006 Failed to connect to the given host/service BattlEye server is works itself 13:57:06 Connected to Steam servers Arma 3 Console version 1.84.144943 x86 : port 2302 13:57:22 headlessclient uses modified data file 13:57:22 BattlEye Server: Player #0 headlessclient (127.0.0.1:2316) connected 13:57:22 Player headlessclient connecting. 13:57:22 Unsupported language English in stringtable 13:57:22 Unsupported language English in stringtable 13:57:22 Mission Invade & Annex: Apex Edition read from bank. 13:57:22 BEServer: cannot find channel #1163452635, users.card=0 13:57:24 Server error: Player without identity headlessclient (id 1163452635) 13:57:24 Player headlessclient connected (id=HC26131). 13:57:24 BattlEye Server: Verified GUID () of player #0 headlessclient 13:57:24 BattlEye Server: Player #0 headlessclient - Owner BE GUID: 8539e01499f87 Connection from a LAN PC is comes to an Arma host machine tcpdump -i eth0 port 23006 -s 0 -S -vv tcpdump: listening on eth0, link-type EN10MB (Ethernet), capture size 262144 bytes 15:00:42.325159 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 13164, offset 0, flags [DF], proto UDP (17), length 53) 192.168.0.22.35799 > 192.168.0.10.23006: [udp sum ok] UDP, length 25 15:00:46.197854 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 13474, offset 0, flags [DF], proto UDP (17), length 53) 192.168.0.22.33935 > 192.168.0.10.23006: [udp sum ok] UDP, length
