_daan_55 0 Posted July 11, 2016 Hello people, Just downloaded Arma 3 Apex and used the editor to explore Tanoa a little. First thing I noticed was all those flashing white textures when I moved around. So I just changed some things in the video settings but nothing helped. Then I looked it up on the internet what this could be. I saw that the anti-aliasing could make some trouble. So I changed about everything but still not better. So please help me out with this. Arma 3 worked great until I used Apex. Too bad about that new DLC. Please help. My system: Processor: AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core Processor, 3800 MHz, RAM: 8,00 GB Graphics card: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series 64 bit.
teabagginpeople 398 Posted July 11, 2016 Have you an amd card? Ok I seen your edit. Make sure v sync is disabled. Download msi afterburner if you have not already and check gpu temps. There was a change to default arma gpu settings. Try take some pics of your current gpu settings and share here. Amd has recently released a new driver. Have you Downloaded it? KoalaDSK 122 Posted July 12, 2016 Hello, this issue has its own feedback tracker ticket: https://feedback.bistudio.com/T118988Seems to be a driver related issue of AMD GPUs.According to the feedback tracker users/author you have to install the latest AMD Radeon Crimson Software 16.3.2 to solve these graphical artifacts.Best regards

campo109 0 Posted July 14, 2016 Well ther is a new LOD rendering system in place since the last update-objects render in a kind of tiny grid patternIs it super noticable for you? For me you can see it clearly when you zoom in with binos, a scope or when you are driving or flying.
ineptaphid 6413 Posted July 14, 2016 Well it is hard to define "noticeable".Yes-I can see it happening when flying in a chopper or zooming in with a scope. But i find it less jarring than the old system where trees and bushes would just suddenly pop into existence in front of me. Maybe you could get a picture or video of the issue so we could see it better?

Maybe if it's not too much of a hassle you could get one so I could compare?
