bhcluster 15 Posted May 10, 2016 Hi all, Just was wondering if there was a way of placing insignia on the right hand similar to left i.e. class EventHandlers { init = "[(_this select 0), 'Insignia_Flag_Color'] call BIS_fnc_setUnitInsignia"; }; and if it is possible to flatten this(marked on the images) or if this is a plain model? Thanks for any help.
KokaKolaA3 394 Posted May 10, 2016 So far i know is in the .p3d a special selection for that, so you can't put it on the hand. Only if you have the Source files of a model.
Jackal326 1182 Posted May 10, 2016 Not unless you add the same named selection ("Insignia") to a custom model. The only way it would be achievable is to have your XML image the same as your Insignia image, but it would only work in MP.
bhcluster 15 Posted May 10, 2016 I can add the insignia textures onto the uniform skin but the problem is those raised parts identified in the photo so I was wondering if that s a part of a model (.p3d) and if so is there a model which does not have those parts. road runner 4344 Posted May 13, 2016 The raised parts are from the p3d model and nohq, and the left and right arms are mirrored, so whatever you put on the arm is mirrored on the other, it's the same with the NATO BLUFOR uniform

road runner 4344 Posted May 16, 2016 Yeah, the NATO BLUFOR is pretty flat, you could edit the nohq, and remove the velcro effect to make it flatter? It all really depends on the effect you want to achieve. The workaround I used to get an insignia on the opposite side was to add it to the custom head gear,vest/back pack as a selection, I can get National Flags on the Right Arms, and ZAP/Call sign numbers on the left side, quite easily, but they have to be part of a back pack, or headgear, or any other uniform item you make to get them to work.I use a similar setup for the US Flag on the Chest of the 6094 add-on I just released.
