I have a very similar configuaration, and play between 20 and 40 FPS at High to Ultra...To everyone: put this mod in to get rid of the blur effect and gain some FPS (and image quality): http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?148644-NoBlur Yay! shhkapuppy 1 Posted March 10, 2013 Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit) Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40GHz 8GB RAM Now here's where I'm doomed, Intel HD Graphics 2000.... I've tried 2 good graphics cards but computer wouldn't recognize them, I read a review on the computer I have saying to run any decent graphics card I'll need a better power supply. Thing is, this computer was bought in July 2012. Shouldn't need a any further upgrades. I was looking at the Nvidia GeForce 650 1GB but I don't even know if it would work. shhkapuppy 1 Posted March 10, 2013 yup your GPU is the problem, look at my specs i can play it on high. >40fps It launchers, goes black, then something about Intel Drivers crashing. According to task manager it is still running. I've read about other people having this as a bug. I can run arma 2 and arma 2OA along with call of duty. I doubt the HD 2000 is supported, since it's almost 2 generations behind and it is an integrated Intel GFX solution. You need a dedicated card. ---------- Post added at 17:13 ---------- Previous post was at 17:10 ---------- Ok peeps need some constructive answers please!!My specs: Intel Core I5 750 (o'c to 3.2Ghz) (stock is 2.67Ghz) Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti 8GB DDR3 RAM Win7 Ultimate 64 bit Motherboard: Asus P7H55 Hard drive: WDC WD5000AAKS-00UU3A0 ATA Device I am getting really low FPS, should I be? Then put Shadow on High, PIP - Low, PostProc Quality - Low, Objects - High, Textures - High. Keep the standard View Distance. BTW, shadow on high is because I think they're rendered on the CPU if put on Normal, just like in ArmA II. You need to balance the load, divert more to your powerful GPU. I think Vsync is your main problem, it limits your FPS if you can't keep it close to your monitor's refresh rate, which is probably 60. Turning off Vsync may open up High preset for you. dale0404 5 Posted March 10, 2013 Turning off Vsync does not have any appeciable effect. Is the bottleneck my CPU or something else?

Iroquois Pliskin 0 Posted March 10, 2013 Turning off Vsync does not have any appeciable effect. Is the bottleneck my CPU or something else? CPU is fine, VSync will have a noticable effect - if your setup can't keep FPS CONSTANTLY at 60, it will jump to 30, then to 20, etc and stay there.
br1ckwa11 1 Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) i5 k655@3.2 ghz 460gtx 768mb 8gb basically can only run wasteland at 20fps MAX (usually less) on standard, shadows off, vsync off, aa off. getting really frustrating. any suggestions? Iroquois Pliskin 0 Posted March 10, 2013 i5 k655@3.2 ghz460gtx 768mb 8gb ...run wasteland at 20fps MAX... ...any suggestions? It's poor server-side performance, which limits your own FPS. Find other servers.

Do you know of anything else I can add to launch options to improve FPS? Btw, I've tried two graphics cards, one was really nice too but neither were recognized by computer and HP drivers are a pain to find, or at least one thats work. I have the HP Pavilion h8-1240t desktop.

gliptal 25 Posted March 10, 2013 What? lolSorry, I meant "You're going to run it well"...I heard that there is low FPS with AMD cards because the game utilizes PhysX, do you know if that's true?Partially: if you have an AMD card PhysX libraries get handled by the CPU, and not the GPU... This means that having a good CPU becomes even more important...Yay!
Iroquois Pliskin 0 Posted March 10, 2013 I heard that there is low FPS with AMD cards because the game utilizes PhysX, do you know if that's true? It is false. PhysX/physics simulation is being run wholly on the CPU.
imrevned 1 Posted March 10, 2013 It is false.PhysX/physics simulation is being run wholly on the CPU. Since Nvidia cards support PhysX, would they theoretically run the game faster than an AMD card?
Iroquois Pliskin 0 Posted March 10, 2013 Since Nvidia cards support PhysX, would they theoretically run the game faster than an AMD card? Physics is simulated ONLY on cpu. There are currently no features that would take advantage of the Nvidia's CUDA engine. 1) Ragdolls & general simulation is a CPU thing; 2) What you're talking about is fluff like EXTRAAAZZ particlezzz & dust puffs that Nvidia likes to advertise a lot. :) The latter is not in the game.
