Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted October 20, 2002 There is a command, called rating, which will make you appear as an enemy to other soldiers. Anyone know how to use it and what its syntax is? In case it helps, player is civilian and at a specific point in time, the cops, Res and West soldiers are meant to shoot at him. Cheers

Balschoiw 0 Posted October 20, 2002 With the rating command you can do a lot of funny things. Rating increases , when a soldier hits an enemy target. It decreases if you hit friendly units. If it goes below 0 you´re taken as an enemy and will be attacked by own forces. I used the get rating to bring more atmosphere into missions, cause soldiers now yell threats if they hit an enemy. Download the Real war map to see how it´s done. It is a tech demo, only to demonstrate how dynamic battle sounds can work. Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted October 20, 2002 Thanks guys Does the number mean anything? Will -999999 make "my" units attack me faster? Because right now they take a lot of time to realise im there and shoot me... Thx
walker 0 Posted October 20, 2002 Hi all It occurs to me that this would be yet another way of testing for TKs or the TKs who shoot you in the legs at your respawn in MP Anyone whos addRating dereases recieves dammage equivalent to their Addrating decrease. Solutions that are arbitrary and not subject to human judgement are more fair and less devisive than accusations of cheating. A method to detect use of the fog cheat and put the yellow target square around them would be a better solution to that problem too. Dito the targeting cheat. Kind Regards walker

I dont get it.

Guest BratZ Posted October 21, 2002 I'm pretty sure at -4 they will start shooting you as enemy. I dunno if at -1000 they are more aggressive,I don't think so.
InqWiper 0 Posted October 21, 2002 Actually <-2000 is the magic limit, if it drops lower then 2000 they consider you as an enemy.
GAMEER_77 0 Posted October 21, 2002 Well, if you gave him a -2000 rating, then he shoot an enemy, he'd be plus again. Duh! PEACE
bn880 5 Posted October 21, 2002 Oh, so that's how the rating thing works... I have been educated.
