old_painless 183 Posted March 3, 2016 My vote goes to MSI Afterburner. Although it's not just for screenshots, but also for fps & hardware monitoring, and video recording. Can I just ask: What settings do you use for in-game video recording? I tried recording in-game the other day, and the resulting resolution was not very good. Could barely read the menu text and so on. I used: Container format: Matroska MKV Video format: MJPG compression Quality set at 85% Frame size: ½ frame Framerate 30 fps Framerate limit disabled My in-game resolution: 2560x1440. Like I said, it did not turn out very good
jumpinghubert 49 Posted March 11, 2016 I don´t like the screenshots with steam because I use higher brightness, lower gamma values ingame plus reshade. Steam neutralize these custom values so all screens are washed out.
