FSPilot 0 Posted October 19, 2002 So why aren't depleted uranium shells included in operation flashpoint? I know the A-10 and M1A1 use them, and they're VERY effective against armored vehicles, so why not? Even if they aren't released officially, can someone make them as an addon? HellToupee 0 Posted October 19, 2002 well didnt u hear what happened to alot of ground troops from destert storm they sued the US government for the side affects of the a10s gun from breathing in the dust when around destryed tanks. If they do add it, they sould make it if u breath it in and acclerate time your charater should die a few years sooner than normal.

Kermit 0 Posted October 19, 2002 I think it is supposedly incorporated, although it is not effective enough; don't sabot shells contain depleted uranium?
Beagle 684 Posted October 19, 2002 the Question and request is silly, because the penetrator of the SABOT round is made from hard metal, like Tungsten and DU. Both do have the same penetration, but DU is cheaper... In the 80s, most Sabots had tungsten penetrators...
Guest Posted October 19, 2002 The question is indeed pointless. Moving to OT
