From time to time, after you return from mission preview back to Eden, your mission.sqm gets corrupted.

All Entities deleted and only EditorData left, mission.sqm is overwritten, so there is no comeback.

 

Before mission preview make a backup of mission.sqm somewhere outside mission folder.

Hmm, does this include "arma 3 editor is not responding" when trying to open the mission?

Nope, nothing goes wrong. This is hard to reproduce, i encountered it more than 10 times while making mission, however i cant understand how to reproduce this effect with 100%.

Please try testing with autosave set to "NEVER", it looks like issue is related to autosaving. But more testing is needed.

 

Also, issue is not related to mods. I reproduced issue without any mods installed.

Just tested also without mods and had it happened.

 

The only objects I had were:

Two NATO pilots (1 player)

One Hunter

Two Cargo containers

Zeus Game Master

Zeus Add Editable Object (Synced to cargo containers)

 

Went to Play Scenario

 

Spawned a Ghosthawk and flew around for about 15-20 mins

 

I had autosave enabled (15 min) , Going to test same setup with autosave off, but I suspect Mind is correct in that it's the cause.

 

EDIT: Ok, test seems to confirm that turning the auto save off stops the issue manifesting.
