I am working on making a terrain that has multiple waterways and inlets, however the bridges that are part of the game do not work for my need; not long enough and tall enough.  Are there any other options that may be usefull?  I have found something from Killzone Kid but I can't figure out how to make it work.  The idea for the terrain is coastal/brown water warfare, so being able to use the small boats from the game would be ideal.  Thanks!

for objectplacement use Neo´s Mapbuilder https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/177323-map-builder-ingame-3d-editor-for-terrain-creation/

(its very easy to use)

if you like to use Jbad Bridges,

copy this in a Modfolder and launch it https://www.dropbox.com/s/kp88lb08ax1b20s/Jbad_MB_Defines.pbo?dl=0

Thanks for this.  I forgot about Map Builder (I've played with it before).  Do you happen to know of a place where there is a tutorial?  The developers page is not very good.  Thanks!

Edit:

I found a simple document from the creator, but it seems like it is missing a lot, specifically brushes and how to use.

Still looking for bridges that will work properly with my project.  I tried one and I think it is locked as it didn't pack properly.  Thanks.

Are you using Jbad Bridges ?

They do work , a little problematic with AI but they work, did you Extract the into your p:  and keep the same paths ?

The Bridges are working on Arma3, place the bridge just a few centimeters higher or lower than your street, leave at the beginning of a bridge a small overlap from your Street.

if this don't work you can create a Road with a invisible texture, and place this invisible roads over your Bridge.

(not the best solution but works)

Just as I have done here (click)

Is there a texture already in the game for that? or did you make your own? I'm just using a dirt road under my bridge, but would like to change it.

A2 bridges work fine, I have many different types in Australia you can also download the unbinarized models and customize them to suit

Thank you all for the responses!

1para{god-father} how would I do the extraction?  I have a P drive set up and can see all the vanilla stuff.

Auss, where would I find those files?

So here is where I stand.  I have used ExtractPBO on Jbad_Structures, moved the folder into my P:\a3 folder, and placed a bridge in TB.  It looks likes this:

No texture.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Thank you for that Auss!!!  I put the bridge I want in TB, saved and packed.  When I test it in Arma, I got a warning during startup that I need addon "bridges" and they don't appear in the game.  I tried again with @jbad running and it went away and everything looked great in game.  Is there a way to add objects and not have the original addon running?

as far as i know the folder where  you have the bridges has to convert in PBO (the easy way is  pbomanager)  and put in addon folder in your island/mod.

in fact when you mount jbad buildings the engine recognize the pbos.
