Hengleford 10 Posted October 2, 2015 Hello, i've been playing Arma 3 for over 200 hours and i'm having a huge problem with the Altis map, I load up the map and I get 25-30 FPS at standard quality for about 5 to 10 minutes before it suddenly drops to 5fps and really stutters... also the graphics become really strange which you'll see in the photos. Please can someone give me some advice because it's driving me crazy!...Normal 25/30 fps standard quality:http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/394420436259696507/64F246126E95FA4C138FBE4ECDBBBCD18F1F6C97/Graphics and fps drop:http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/394420436259696999/8E61C17E79AED6FA8FE45A5D3A86078B5C4BD78E/ and the creepy "T" part: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/394420436259697944/F2DC5CC8249E7BE40F44AA9A152F73DF3D9156FE/ I hope someone can help! - Henge. Jackal326 1181 Posted October 2, 2015 When the FPS drops and the graphic issues occur, hold LEFT SHIFT and KEYPAD MINUS (-) for ~5 seconds, then release them both and type FLUSH. If that helps its a memory issue, perhaps a memory leak in the latest patch.

Hengleford 10 Posted October 3, 2015 This isn't FADE kicking in, is it? I don't think it is since I bought Arma 3 on steam.

Laren 0 Posted October 3, 2015 Hello, Since the release of the recent patch i have terrible fps drops when trying to move, unplayable when trying to sprint. I tryed doing what Jackal326 said, and it helps for a couple od seconds and its back the way it were before. I hope they fix it soon or someone finds a workaround, right now i cant even try the VR training the fps drop to 5-7 when moving.
Hengleford 10 Posted October 3, 2015 Could be overheating the cpu. Laptop? I don't think it's the CPU, I've played on Stratis for over 2 1/2 hours with no problems... just might be that the Altis map is just buggy for me or something along those lines. I've tried it but it only goes back to normal for about 3/5 minutes before doing it again, Thank you though for the advice.
