Hello, sorry about the late reply... I've tried it but it only goes back to normal for about 3/5 minutes before doing it again, Thank you though for the advice.

I don't think it's the CPU, I've played on Stratis for over 2 1/2 hours with no problems... just might be that the Altis map is just buggy for me or something along those lines.

I don't think it is since I bought Arma 3 on steam.

Hello, i've been playing Arma 3 for over 200 hours and i'm having a huge problem with the Altis map, I load up the map and I get 25-30 FPS at standard quality for about 5 to 10 minutes before it suddenly drops to 5fps and really stutters... also the graphics become really strange which you'll see in the photos. Please can someone give me some advice because it's driving me crazy!...
