Crielaard 435 Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) One of the first upcomming releases! Although it is ANOTHER Arma2 Apache port, we are proud of the results so far. And still aim to make this one a bit special compared to the others. Our goals for this addon is to provide a fully functional apache with a lot of gadgets, without any scripting being involved. Thus just making use of the config functions available in Arma3. We used DeltaGamer's port as a base to start from. Thanks to his work we got the initial inspiration. Kimi, also known as geraldbolso1899 allready has put in a lot of work to enhance the HMD, interface and weapon systems. I personally worked on the general config, model, skin and special features. pulstar 55 Posted February 18, 2015 With Combat Helo development stalling (no pun intended!) Arma seems the best option for helo enthusiasts ATM. The initial release lacks a few special features we hoped to inplement. But be decided, whatever we bring to the public should be as good as done. Do all neat features we got to work but don't look perfect were cut out. But do expect them later! Crielaard 435 Posted March 16, 2015 The Lima is available in the config. Hower the RNLAF Apache is not equiped with the longbow radar. (It could but they dont have it) and so I disabled locking on to Radar targets. There will be a US Army variant and BAF variant soon that do have the longbow radar. But it will only be able to lock up on radar targets, not IR. Thus that means when the lock is lost and the target moves, you miss. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

On one of our servers we run a persistent map; will this helo run an armament selector, or will different armament configurations be represented by putting multiple helicopters down on the map? (As in, will one helicopter on the map be reconfigurable, or will we need to put down multiple configurations to get the different arms options?) also, will it be rearmable? It's sounding amazing! The initial Release will only have 30mm, Kilo and November Hellfires and a mix of Heat and MPSM rockets. Furture releases will have multiple models with fixed loadout...and even later we will have a loadout system simmelar to what USAF's A-10 and Saul & John-Spartan's F/A18 has. Any LOAL LOBL ? Yes, but not for the first release. It's easy enough to implement Shadow's RWCO script but we want this mod to be scriptless. 100% preferably. We do have a LOAL mode in mind, solley using smart ways of applying Configs. But it doesnt work as good as we want it...yet. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
