Ahles3 10 Posted November 6, 2014 The whole purpose of sling loading is for logistics and we can't even lift a Hunter with it? Maybe the Huron can lift it, but I really don't want to pay $15 for two futuristic helicopters when I could use a mod for a present day Chinook. But back to the topic at hand, Why can't we lift a Hunter with a Mohawk? The chopper is basically the futuristic version of a CH53 which can lift alot... Imperator[TFD] 444 Posted November 6, 2014 Only the Huron and the Taru can lift MRAPS. You do realise that a Hunter weighs close to 14 tonnes right? If you are worried about whether or not the CH-47 mod you are using cannot lift the MRAPs you would need to contact the authour of that mod to update his content to enable sling loading. Also, the Mohawk is not a futuristic version of the CH-53. Not even close. It is a slightly changed version of the AW101 Merlin helicopter in use primarily by the UK Armed Forces.
