bracer 12 Posted October 10, 2014 Hey guys! I have this problem that I don't understand how to solve. When using a flashlight inside my structures I don't get the spot from the light on the faces of the walls. Instead it looks like the edges of the faces are reflecting the light!? Look here: http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/541881077360039433/2157B005720E2A187D81DE03428CA6BA0ED4EDB8/ Does anyone know what I'm missing here? Thanks in advance! ---------- Post added at 11:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:53 AM ---------- Got it working, pretty much atleast!! Cunico 995 Posted October 16, 2014 I know when I have this issue with my models its normally one of two things...either you didn't specify the texture path to your _co,_nohq,_smdi etc. in your .RVMAT, or the shadowLOD is all screwy. Its really hard to say because this takes a process of elimination to figure out what it is. I think it's an RVMAT issue tho.
Von Quest 1161 Posted October 16, 2014 How do you get it dark inside? Do you have to use these only at night? I would love to have darkened structures during all hours for some of my WIP projects.
warlord554 2065 Posted October 16, 2014 Working on my visible laser I have the same problems inside structures, it shines "through" the building, im thinking it's engine related, but I haven't found a fix. Keep us posted if you do
