somesangheili 111 Posted August 21, 2014 ok, this is weird. I click on a few KOTH servers on the server browser and a popup comes up and says: You were kicked off the game. (BattlEye: Admin Kick (BEC: Your player name cannot contain any of the chars:{}/\^'"|)). what is the deal with this??? my profile name happens to have a ' in it and now im restricted to just a few servers? I tried making another profile of the same name but without the ' in it, and joining the same server in a different profile makes you start at level 1. i'm currently like level 20 in KOTH (in the one server that lets me in) at the moment. kbbw123 115 Posted August 21, 2014 this is done to make it easier for server admins and moderators ingame. its a major hasle to have to type a name that has special chras in it (because some keyboards don't even have them) and to make sure the servers are nicly moderated this was done Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
