hzatiger 10 Posted August 15, 2014 My game keeps randomly crashing. Sometime I can play for an hour other times I can only play for 5 minutes, completely random. My ARMA3 crash report file show this at the bottom each time: ErrorMessage: DX11 error : CreateBuffer failed : DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED I've tried 3 different Nvidia driver versions for the 780 all with the same result. I also made sure my directx is up to date. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mamasan8 11 Posted August 16, 2014 (edited) If you alt-tab really fast when it crashes, does it say "Nvidia driver has stopped responding blaablaa"? Usually this textbox appears in the lower right corner. In that case, try this Didn't help me one bit but... My Nvidia GPU was crashing my computer left and right in every game. I tried all the "fixes". None of em worked. Only thing that worked for me was adjusting the voltage. Can be done in MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X. So I upped that by 13 millivolts, problem gone for good. Not buying Nvidia again. The amount of graphics bugs I get in games is just staggering. Never had graphics issues with an AMD card in the past 10 years. "Nvidias drivers are good". Yeah, lousiest POS ever. It's on the ATI level of 15 years ago. When ATI really sucked.
