granQ 293 Posted July 12, 2014 Anyone made a tank for arma3 with physx? I made a geo bouncy (just a simple box), put "canfloat=1" and played around with the mass, setting it very low and at realistic level. Only thing I get is a tank that can drives around on the ocean floor, which of course is cool but not the intention. So anyone else have tried (and hopefully succeed)

kiory 405 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) There's a setting in the config somewhere called waterLeakiness = whatever, that should be what's causing it. Basically it's the amount of litres per second that leaks into vehicle if under water, destroyed or turned upside down, according the the sample_f configs. For me it's worked in the past to get things floating correctly. Edited July 12, 2014 by Kiory
reyhard 2082 Posted July 12, 2014 http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?170999-Amphibious-Vehicle-Config-Example most important thing is setting autocenter property to 0 beside that, I don't know anyone who succeed with making it steerable
