Running with ran's idea   : A flag for Nogova's communist days:

red with a yellow 'N' and star. Having toruble getting it online though...

Green and white looks ok, just not the way it's been used so far, no matter what's in the middle it makes me think of Nigeria, try another pattern or different shades or something.

The green and white vertical bands is not just Nigerian!

ran, the red one can be for communist Nogova, and the other for independant Nogova.

Do people prefer the new wreath?

What about an Heraldric flag for 'old' Nogova. Pre-communist, these sort of images are often taken up by resistance movements, like the cross of lorraine and the Free-French.

For example This is the flag of Royal Romania before it was absorbed by communism. It is still held by royalists and some nationalists today.

Interesting... the vertical lines do make it different... why not use your old crest as center of the flag with the vertical lines... good work para!

I dunno, it's a hard one.  On one hand I like the green and white which goes with the local police.  On the other I like the idea of sticking closer to a communist/soviet ideal.  Piggybacking off of earlier work here is one that I've come up with.  If it dosen't work click on the link.

Its stylish, but better for pre-independance Nogova, I would like to keep the 'N' personally.

well i remembered that on the nogova policemans' hat, theres a little coat of arms w/ a "N" in the center of it, why not put that design on the flag?

oops seems somebody already beat me too it. though for some reason i don't think that the green goes well w/ it. i can't tell why but i just simply don't.
