Trainer for map development

Has anybody used the trainer (god mode) that's floating around for testing their new levels?

I find it very hard to properly play-test a MP level just playing by myself, and am looking for some other way to go about it.

I got the trainer, but I'm not sure what it does, or if it screws up my game for good, that's why I've been hestitant to even try it out.

Anybody got any experience with this?

You can always use a respawn=3,

to test your mp misisons. This way you respawn at

the same place, where you got killed.

Put it in the init.field of the unit.

Nobody will shoot at you, but I don't know if you shoot them, if they will fire back. Try it. smile.gif

They won't shoot back no matter how many you kill.

Yeah, I just tried it, and it's phantastic for testing. Just what I've been looking for.

But - I would have never expected them to behave that way. To ignore me-yes; but to still ignore me, even if they see me shooting at them-I'd consider that a bug in the engine. Not that I won't take full advantage of it while it lasts...;) But it doesn't really make sense. As soon as a captive starts shooting, he should be switched to enemy mode.

Type it in the init field of your unit.

Another way is to change your unit to a cheated one,AI will still shoot U but U are "untouchable".

Open up mission.sqm and change the line:

vehicle="SoldierWSaboteurCheat"
