blackdog~ 0 Posted September 9, 2002 It needs to have it's polycount WAY lower though, but it would be great for civilian paper routes (lol) or something to that effect. You could even use the motorcycle textures and make it have the same seat cusions, and that red paint . Also if anyone wants to take this up, you could make a camoflauge skin for the resistance, it would make a nifty little scouting thing. And one more thing, only one person
Jester983 0 Posted September 9, 2002 Wow looks great. keep up the good work. Looks like you used the same handle bars as the motorcycle in resistance. Did you or did you make them yourself?
blackdog~ 0 Posted September 9, 2002 I didn't model it, I found it on a freeware model site... didn't say who made it though.
ralphwiggum 6 Posted September 9, 2002 it definietly needs poly reduction. we can have simpler model with better texture and that would work too.
blackdog~ 0 Posted September 9, 2002 Ralph, it looks like you need to make the fluffy bunny your icon too... hehe [EDIT:] I was wrong... lol
Jester983 0 Posted September 9, 2002 Yea really. How long you have to keep that for anyways?
blackdog~ 0 Posted September 9, 2002 Original by David Lam Took me a while to find his name though, no email provided. Doh! --------------------- Unless there is some kind of 'sizing down' option in 3DS to make it lower poly, it looks like you'll have to remake one But its still a good idea... hehe
Jester983 0 Posted September 9, 2002 How fast will this thing go once you get it in OFP?
blackdog~ 0 Posted September 9, 2002 It will fly and be able to shoot FFARs out of pop up thingies. J/K. How fast does one of those things go? 15 mph, I have no idea, maybe a quarter of the speed of the motorcycle...
ralphwiggum 6 Posted September 9, 2002 i think some curves have to go away too. like wheels, they can go with flat circles and then have textures that will appear as if it has rims. class definition can probably be derived from motrocycle class available from o.pbo. i had my avatar since Red Storm(now RedStorm) found one for me. i think it was since march or february. i do have some images of ralph wiggum, but i'm sticking with this one due to bandwidth problem. i post alot, so it consumes a big bandwidth, so i better leave it as is. FlipeR 0 Posted September 9, 2002 HEHE Thats a common Italian "Vespa" - a little motorcycle for city use! Depending on its engine - for a 50ccm engine -> top speed arround 55 km/h, for a 80ccm version -> 80-90km/h! There are also 125ccm engined versions but those are realy crazy -> 120 km/h and more - its a suicide Anyhow, my neighbour has a 50 ccm Vespa and I took a ride with it some time ago...I must say its realy easy and a pleasure to drive! You should all try it FlipeR
