CrunchyFrog 0 Posted September 7, 2002 It seems they made the same mistake as BIS with the G36, the burst function on G36 fires 2 rounds IRL, not 3 rounds as in the the HK pack. btw. The HK G3A4 doesnt have burst function. oh, has anyone else noticed, when you change magazine from regulur to drummag on the G36/G8, it changes magazine model, I thought that was impossible with OFPs engine... very cool. I cant install it. its never giving me a choice of folders to install to. this is what i get after starting the self-installer: warning: the following product version is already present on the system: You must update it. -76-Chavez 0 Posted September 7, 2002 Just a few corrections (as far as I know): - The G22 isnt a MSG90, its a AWM in 0.300Winmag caliber, we dont use the MSG90, just G22 and G3ZF - The FN-FAL was designated G1 I think - The Bundeswehr uses the "G"-designation, not HK. So the name of the pack is just coz most weapons are from HK I guess.Otherwise I would ask "Are the KSK and the cmbat frogmen (thank you, I waited for those quite long! made by HK???" grrrrreetz [76]Chavez Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Adviss 0 Posted September 7, 2002 ack! I made that post rather hastily, mmmyy mistake. The msg90, however, is in your pack, as I remember seeing a nifty screenshot of it a whiles back! I mixed up the G22 AW/M .300 and G2 as well. The G2 is the Famas while the G1 is the FN-Fal, so I guess I need more coffee or something today. Anyways, ive taken down my older post, as looking over it now makes me shudder. Finally, a rather dire question: I cant install the pack! ack! it says the "designation is not valid" for the install directory. I cant change it. *%#@%^! perhaps this is somehow due to the older pack? ...that I deleted...right...before installing? agh, Im all out of ideas. help? I cant reenter anything. areiajtpew! it also says I already have a previous version installed, which is odd, because I moved every single addon from the folders and it still says it. Argh! Gunship -OFP-ZONE- 0 Posted September 7, 2002 ähm lol.... Go in the installer and make a directory on C:/xxx then extract the pbo in this ! When this done, you put the TheHkpack.pbo in the RES/AddOns/ ! Thats all.... But it works also with the direct extrakt in the RES/AddOns/ folder in the automatic install! Adviss 0 Posted September 7, 2002 Gunship! that doesnt work, as im not allowed to change directories through the installer! I have resistance, and never had a problem with any other addon! If theres a way to extract the contents of the installer to a directory, any directory, ill take it! as it stands now, I cant do much with it! im going to go insane if I cant use this addon soon, ive been following it ever since the release of the original famas! #%@! Garritos 0 Posted September 7, 2002 yeah gunship, we cant type anything in the destination space. Â everytime we start the installer we get a popup telling us about the "previous version installed". Â I removed anything HK or LB related and i still get the message. Â gah i now have to go to work, hope its all sorted out when return. it blows my mind that they did not include a "browse" function in the installer. well i guess it also blows my mind they used a self-installer for one bloody PBO file. Adviss 0 Posted September 7, 2002 I fixed by running the installer on my other computer (which doesnt have ofp installed) and it works fine. lets me change the install directory, as well. This has to have something to do with the "older version already installed" message or something. Im stumped, but at least im able to finally try the excellent addon pack out. blackdog~ 0 Posted September 7, 2002 Gunship the download isn't working, your site isn't working. Good idea to make it the only site about OFP that hosts it. If you think that you should send it to another webserver to host, just send the pack to 67134520, MSNM email bdmoonraker@msn.com, or AIM OFPBlackDog I can host it on my server, either though its a gig of transfer, It might be able to hold the users that just visit this forum Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
