Maxon 1 Posted January 20, 2014 Hello, I have one question. how many cores can ARMA3 Server.exe handle? Question ist will it make sense to run it on a 6 core with 3 ghz clock or better on a 4 core with 4 ghz. Any idea?

trnapster 12 Posted January 20, 2014 If you want to run multiple instances (multiple servers) on your root more cores will help... We are running 3x 50 slot servers on a i7-2600k @Hetzner

There is so different information about one thread or multi-thread on this forum that a female cat wouldn't retrieve her cats' litters. All what i know is : never use core 0 affinity for a server beacuse windows is using it for his I/O. Edited January 20, 2014 by Mariodu62
=[TTK]= memphis007 10 Posted January 21, 2014 According to the last spotrep (http://dev.arma3.com/spotrep-00017) : Better load spread across several CPU cores So server uses at least 2 cores, maybe more.
SavageCDN 231 Posted January 23, 2014 server really only uses 2 cores.. get the highest possible CPU clock speed
