EricJ Helicopter Pack

- Removed M260 Rocket pods from MH-60/92 DAPs
- Added a 19-round M261 rocket launcher taken from my UH-1Y mod. Currently only the M151 HE is used for the warhead. This is only available on the MH-60/92 DAPs.

For news I've been somewhat hanging out at the Project Hatchet Discord and they're talking about doing a project called HeliSim. It's a way to improve the flight models of the vanilla and 3rd party mods that have helicopters, tilt-rotors, and some other ways of doing things. For now I'm going to implement this into the Kiowa rather than the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I feel that the flight model is good enough and no real complaints, and also I want to test the waters with the Kiowa first, as I may change the mind and work on the EricJ Helicopter Pack. for additional mods it will require the Hatchet Framework and the HeliSim mod to utilize these features. if you're like me and don't have much use for ACE3 it won't require it, so that's a good thing if you look at it that way. Personally, I don't like heavy mod dependencies in the first place, and if I can keep it within a mod that just requires the base game, I'll do it, like some of my work, with the only one so far being the EricJ Weapons Pack, which requires CBA of course, but that's a very common mod and most if not all milsims have it for their use.  So the Kiowa first, and if it works out pretty good and not overly complicated I can see about the other helis and so on. But that's when it comes out, whenever that will be. As for everything else again I'm at a little breathing room and now that I'm getting some help with the Kiowa, I can model the gun pod. It's coded and modeled (which isn't finished right now, but it works) more or less, with me finishing up the M3P sometime maybe tomorrow or Friday, or within that timeframe.

- Added a "finished" M3P machinegun for the Kiowa. I need feedback on how it feels and if it looks right on the bird. I think I did a good job and in the future will be textured. But it works, and a very much thanks to John Unden on LinkedIn who provided some good reference photos of the pod so I can get it in A3. In the future sometime it will be textured, as I want it to look good.

- Added a requested new helicopter, the "S-70 Utility Blackhawk", which is basically a stripped-down civilian version of the Blackhawk chopper. It is only available for use by the civilian faction, along with the S-94s
- UH-92s have improved sensors, IR and visual sensors are improved.

Right now things are again at a dull roar. I've been dealing with some family issues at home so been somewhat busy as can be, but it's not too bad and things are going okay. Anyway, BradMick from the Project Hatchet should hopefully give up the HeliSim profile for the Kiowa, so I'll be learning how to integrate it into the helicopter. I'm thinking of just basic texturing the gun pod with the closest coloration that it had. As for the GAU-19 I'll get to it sometime pending reference shots and whatnot. Wiki shows no use of the ATAS so I may not do it. In a future update I'll be removing the BIS pylon weaponry and stick to operational use weapons, which will be pretty soon after this post probably, just to wean players off of it, unless there is a desire to keep it. Other helicopter news just doing some minor tweaks for the UH-92s, and adding some wire strike stuff to the MH-92s, so not much on that front. I did submit (and it's live) a Pilot UH-1Y mission to the Workshop, so if you enjoy that helo and want to fly it SP, then check it out sometime. Other than that not much else going on unless there are of course some requests I can furnish and the like

Just so you know, I did try to do an autonomous UH-60, given the program that is being worked on. I don't know what utility it may have, but I did try it with it able to carry passengers. Apparently BIS doesn't like that, so I stopped working on it. I could just make it a regular UAV (if anybody is interested I can do that) with better cargo lifting weight, but as far as an autonomous troop carrier, no bueno. Other than some small things, work on the EricJ Helicopter Pack is something I'm finding less and less to think of and do. Work on the Kiowa is still sporadic, and I think I need to make the brass fall out when it fires, as I noticed the muzzle smoke just forward of the canopy when I fired it, or at least change the cartridge to better reflect the actual as close as possible shell size so it looks believable. Mostly the Need To Do work is on the Gatling barrels for the M197 and M134 pods for the MQ-17, that's about all I need to work on and figure out. If you know how to make the barrels rotate in the model.cfg for pod weapons, please let me know as I need to get those working, as everything is more or less working. There is an FM issue with the Kiowa, as a user found out that you can flip the helo backward and so on and various other settings. Overall, the flight model for the Kiowa is still WIP, and not a final form as I'm waiting on BradMick to release it so I can figure out how to implement it and no more issues. For now just take it easy while flying it, and you shouldn't have many issues doing anything. I'm also waiting on a texture PSD from ADuke (I found the original PSDs for the bird, so that's good), and hopefully, I can reliably get the color right in the future. Nothing else is planned and of course any requests either contact me here (I don't mind too many), through Discord or Steam, or carrier pigeon.

Just a note, for some reason I deleted the "m468_co.paa" file in some way or other. It's a known issue that the Barrett M468 in the mod (I think it's cursed now), the main texture is missing. I checked all of my files on my external and nothing, so I emailed ADuke (who did the base texture) and hopefully he'll have one on hand to make it "work" again. But then again if somebody could texture it and so on, then I'm open to anybody who can reliably do it. It can be remapped so there's that.

That could still be beneficial.  If nothing else, it provides a more contemporary ISR platform than the futuristic vanilla UAS helo.  It could also serve as a way to provide a SCAR (or AR) platform without having to worry about the idiot AI, for those of us that play SP.

Well the thing is it is just an uncrewed Unarmed UH-60, and well, I guess you can get some fun out of it, but I don't see using it past cargo hauling and the like, so I'm at a middle actually with that, since I wanted to transport people with a UAV and such. But the game won't let me, so it'll be a glorified cargo hauler. If there's enough interest I can do it though.

- Armed them after so many years for a mission I'm working on, they use BIS weapons, so there's no issue with weapon use and not making it a small weapons pack. Again if you don't like it make your own edits and so on.
- Fixed a filepath error
- Added a "Taliban Infantry Squad", given to fit the game, unlike in reality where there were no defined squads and the like.

I'm certainly not trying to make more work for you.  I guess I misunderstood it was unarmed.  In that case, it could still operate as an ISR asset, but I agree, it's probably not needed as much in that case.
