To BIS. Please release BAF and PMC hi-res textures

With the release of the Arma 2 content I've been coming up with ideas for both Arma 2 and Arma 3 with ideas to edit the models etc. etc. However one major obstacle stand in my and our way when porting to Arma 3, Textures.

The BAF and PMC content was encrypted for good reason back when it was released but now with the release of the models surely we should have the texture files as well. As it hinders development of the models. So I'm asking..pleading with BIS to also release the texture files so all of us can expand on the Arma 2 content to the fullest.

Uh, just de-pbo the pbos, as these pbos aren't protected like the ones that came with the DLCs. And the textures are HD. It's in the licensed data pack, not the sample models, so just take them from there.

And I just realized that the CSAT gorka (calling it that cuz the uniform's design is like a future gorka variant), or the pants of it, come from the BAF uniform (kneepad too). Already knew the NATO Crye Combat Shirt came from the BAF uniform.

Well then that's my bad. I tried de-PBOing the addons and got nowhere but didn't realise they were in that set of data..

Have you guys downloaded the same thing I have? None of the sample packs I got from their webpage contain PBO's, and I´ve been searching for the textures too

Yeah, as has been said, there's a Licensed Content Pack full of unprotected pbos with binarized models, and then there's the Sample pack that contains the unbinarized MLODs without textures (probably to keep the size down).

Guilty as charged.

Found the thing, downloading now just to see the textures. I am tempted to try and bring the officer into the game as a uniform, but I`ve never worked with 3D modelling programs in my life (aside from a short course in 3DsMax, which only confused me with edge loops and nurbs and extrudes and other weird things) and Oxygen doesn't have the best reputation as far as 3D editors go I hear, so I´m not sure if I want to invest time into a surefire failure if there's other people out there much more capable than I am. :I

I´m gonna check around the tutorials anyways, maybe I can understand enough of it to give it a shot.
