saetheer 9 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) Hey. I want to simply copy the standart NATO uniform, but I want to add a custom logo instead of the US shoulder patch. I'm trying to convert clothing1_co.paa to something I can edit. But Texview2 cant open it. Anyone have any suggestions? I've unPBOed the characters_f.pbo Edited November 5, 2013 by Saetheer

abs 2 Posted November 5, 2013 You may want to check this guide out, with regards to the PM you sent me. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?161027-Tutorial-Simple-Re-texturing-Guide-(From-Start-To-Finish) Additionally, Google BIS tools 2.5.1, and install those. da12thMonkey 1943 Posted November 6, 2013 Yea, you'll want to avoid using Kegety's .paa plugin. It produces .paa files that are often in the wrong format for the current engine to render properly - it's a largely outdated tool that was designed for Arma 1. There have been numerous threads on here where people's problems have been resolved by using TexView2 to convert their textures instead of the PS .paa plugin. CSLALUKI 30 Posted November 6, 2013 Convert the texture (.paa) to .png. Open .png, and then if you want to cancel editing, save texture back as the .paa.
