jblackrupert 14 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) http://gameminer.net http://gameminer.net/faq You can win Steam games using coal you earn doing nothing. 1 per hour up to 50. costs nothing, but you can buy gold which allows you to enter to win more expensive games. Gold can also be earned by doing game giveways and from invites to the site. My current Invite key: 0128c685560e4d8c72461ab30afd05f2 Some giveaways are locked to those with $100 worth of games their Steam account so make sure you sync your account with Gameminer with your games visible. * Steam Login info does not go to Gameminer, it's totally through Steam. tons of sites use the same system. It's a Russian run site but totally legit, I've won several games and did several giveaways earning coal and gold to enter more giveaways. Protip for winning games. Don't spam join giveaways unless they are 0 Coal entries (Free) Save your coal and enter giveaways with 15 or higher coal fee's. Higher the fee, the less entries, more chances to win. Snipe the giveways that are ending within 10 minutes with low entry counts. Edited October 25, 2013 by jblackrupert

jblackrupert 14 Posted October 24, 2013 (edited) Game Miner is holding a "Fast miner" event, as of this posting there are 2167 games available to win in fast 10 minute giveaways. Event starts in 1 day: 15 hours as of this post. http://gameminer.net/news/104 Price of entry is 1 Gold which can either be bought or earned from invites to the site. Person who uses your invite key must sync their Steam account with GameMiner and have at least $100 worth of games on their account for you to earn gold from them. (Private Steam profiles cannot be synced). 20 gold can be bought for .63 cents US. http://gameminer.net/payment/xsolla I'm not getting anything out of this post, just a heads up for anyone who'd like a chance to win games. the site is 100% legit, you do not need to spend money on gold to enter and win games. Coal for regular entries is free. Invite key: 0128c685560e4d8c72461ab30afd05f2 You do not need an invite key to join. but I do like to gamble my invite gold earnings on the Mini slots. :) Edited October 25, 2013 by jblackrupert

jblackrupert 14 Posted October 25, 2013 Did you get any games out of this system? 19 so far. http://gameminer.net/profile/jbr/giveaways/won Most of them I just used to create a new giveaway to build up my level on the site. you are free to do what you like with your winnings. The higher your level the more coal you earn per hour and you get more invite keys per 24 hours. Anyone creating bogus giveaways are banned from the site and giveaways are sorted by Game key, Steam gifts and user trust level. Steam gifts are held by Game Miner so they are 100% always working. winners who recieve a bogus or used key can click a reject button that reports it to the site and it appears on the users profile. If a users keys keep getting rejected the site owners will investigate and ban cheaters and anyone falsely claiming keys are bad.
sudayev 27 Posted October 25, 2013 Ok I created the account, this page seems to be an alternative to steamgifts but it's less crowded from what people say. On start I have 50 coal, and what's next simply join the giveaway session? What's the difference between "reuglar giveaways" and "sandpit"
jblackrupert 14 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Ok I created the account, this page seems to be an alternative to steamgifts but it's less crowded from what people say.On start I have 50 coal, and what's next simply join the giveaway session? What's the difference between "reuglar giveaways" and "sandpit" I just did a detailed reply and the forum tossed it in the garbage so take look at the FAQ on the site. http://gameminer.net/forum/8/12601 http://gameminer.ru/faq "What is the difference between sandpit and regular giveaways? The sandpit giveaways are created by new members who doesn't have or have just a few approved key giveaways. You should enter them with caution, especially if it's expensive game." Gifts are always legit. Game miner holds them in escrow until the winner is picked by the server at random. The forum answers all the questions. Helps if you can read Russian because the English versions of all the FAQ's and instructions are translated from that. Not always clear. jblackrupert 14 Posted October 29, 2013 I haven't won anything yet, 40 giveaways participated so far. btw. how quick you won your first gift? Around the 1200 mark, but I have a couple people joining giveaways on the computer and we were spamming the 1 coal giveaways. Not a good technique, many of them won't end for over a month or 2. At 1337 my winning kinda took off. .... Leet winnings.. haha

ziiip 1 Posted October 30, 2013 Not questioning its legitimacy, but why on Earth do people give away games just like that? I understand that some high-profile youtube gamers get promo codes, but that doesnt even scratch the demand on a site like this, so it must be average guys who feed the system? jblackrupert 14 Posted October 30, 2013 Not questioning its legitimacy, but why on Earth do people give away games just like that? I understand that some high-profile youtube gamers get promo codes, but that doesnt even scratch the demand on a site like this, so it must be average guys who feed the system? Most of the games are from Humble bundle Indigala bundle, then a bunch of games that went on sale on Steam for a buck or two. Then there are the Facebook givesways, like our page, get free game type of stuff. A single AAA title from an AMD or Nvidia bundle can earn you a ton of gold which allows you to enter a lot of giveaways for other games so if you play your cards right to you flip those games into lots of little ones or several big ones. Steam has made no effort to shut them down since they are using accounts on there for the storage of gifts in escrow. if anything I wouldn't doubt there are people from Steam or sites giving away a few games to drive traffic to the game sites. IndieGala has their own giveaway site. Gala giveaways: http://www.galagiveaways.com It's good exposure for games since some people will just go buy the thing when they give up trying to win it. Placebo 29 Posted October 31, 2013 Another way to get free steam games is to follow this link: LINK REMOVED. According to here: http://www.mywot.com/en/forum/26080--free-steam-games-phishing that's a phishing site. ---------- Post added at 08:23 ---------- Previous post was at 08:21 ---------- TBH I'm a bit wary of the topic itself, perhaps the first link is completely genuine but it's a topic that can only lead to not so genuine links being posted (as we've seen already), I'm going to put a stop to this I'm afraid, OP can obviously be PM'd if someone has questions about the site and I'm sure there are plenty of links to be found by googling free steam games etc. etc. JUST BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
