joltan 0 Posted August 11, 2002 In a night mission I'm preparing right now, I'd like to show the insertion of the team. Unfortunately, as it's dark and the guys wear black, you can't really see anything. So I'd like to use the NVGoggles as a resource for the camera - is this possible? If so, how can it be done? If not, do you know of any other way, how I can make the players see the intro in night vision?
Harnu 0 Posted August 11, 2002 You could simply move the camera a bit closer when you want to view the guys. As for using NVGoggles, I'll see if I can do it in a little bit. Right now I'm not on my comp that has OFP on it.

Harnu 0 Posted August 12, 2002 Well, NV goggles really suck too but I'll try to get it working soon.
LBGS_Stewart 0 Posted August 12, 2002 if you look at the Hind attack mission the cutseen into that mishion where you see the three black ops talking its a green schreen full without the noise in the schreen, so yea i think it is posible sence i know nothing about mission editing i wouldnt know how to creat it hoping this message would provide some use that it can be done
LauryThorn 0 Posted August 12, 2002 When you make a cutscene in the editor, one unit on the map is "you", I mean, the "player". If you give that unit NVGoggles and he uses them, then the screen will turn green, with no "noise" as you said. And, if you want to return to normal view, you have to remove the NVGoggles from the player. HTH.

All player units have nvgoggles, though. So that would be 'player selectweapon "nvgoggles"'?
