comp_uter15776 1 Posted August 17, 2013 Sounds like he's just looking for a fight to me, though it is ironic that he can't even recognize his own voice. The "You know I'm riiiight" should have been the giveaway at least. Errr charles as much as you may mean well to lighten the mood by joking, this is not a matter to be joking about. I found this hilarious and wasn't going to comment but his voice is so damn annoying; I love how he got annoyed at his OWN voice and didn't know it.
Sealife 22 Posted August 17, 2013 That is a really interesting observation. Whilst the Keyboard threat can and does have very serious consequences the added dimension is probably when the Keyboard threat is not enough , what percentage in 10 years will be in posession of one of these and will the Kids learn about whats right and wrong and consequences without some kind of structured support and education ? I guess time will tell
h - 169 Posted August 17, 2013 This is a bit OT but: though it is ironic that he can't even recognize his own voice. Have you ever heard your own voice played back from a recording? Just curious because I have numerous times (speeches and crap) and I would not be able to recognise myself unless I actually knew I did speak on the recording, even when I see a video of myself and see myself speaking the voice sounds very odd. Weird if no-one else has experienced this :p
nodunit 397 Posted August 18, 2013 (edited) Yes and no..I've heard my voice on playback through someone else ventrilo and via mic recording for a video and they both sounded very different from one another. In this case it was a sound board and I can say, having been a participant of a sound board attack on vent that I was able to recognize my recorded voice in the snap of a finger. outside of denial you can't really miss that its your voice on playback.I suppose the irony was less about his voice and more about his identifying his own mannerisms. What is the chance that you are going to run into someone who taunts the same way you do without doing so afterwards to mock you..hence the "You know I'm right, you know I'm riiiiight." All said and done in the end, he flew off the handle rather too eagerly in defence of his K/D and other pixel achivements.
