take and release control of helicopters

since I updated to the beta from alpha,I'm not able to take control of the helos from the gunner seat anymore.Was wondering why that is???being able to fly the apache (I had added arma 2 content into arma3 via mod folder), was ALOT easier to manage attacks rather than relying on the stupid pilot.This made sense as it also is employed as a feature in vbs.why was it removed from the beta?...or was it enabled because I modded the game for arma 2 content??

I don't believe it was, I can take manual control of the helicopter through the gunners seat of the Comanche.

hmmm I wasn't in the Comanche...I was in the MI kajman...I'll look again

Just checked..it works only in comanchee not kajman???!!,,,A bug?...or not?

Kajiman gunner seat has no controls for the aircraft, if you roll your camera you can see there is no stowed cyclic...despite it being an apache design which has the..NYAH DAMN WESTERN COCKPIT IN EASTERN HELICOPTER *gnaws on something*

I've made a ticket about this(http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=9821) but apparently the copilot seat in the Kajman does not have flight controls, so that might explain the lack of a 'take controls' option.

Although I think it should get flight controls and a 'take controls' option, for the sake of balancing it with the rest of the helicopters.

I guess you mostly want this option to be able to fly your helicopter solo, however it appears that you can't lock onto targets when using manual fire as a pilot, I've made a ticket for that too: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=9961
