Anyone seen previews for the upcoming bond film? What do you think?

I'm curious to see how "R" will do taking over where "Q" left off.

Considering Q really is not a major player in any of the movies, I thing R, or Agent Python biggrin.gif will do fine.

I've heard this will be Brosnans last movie as bond (or second to last)

Any ideas on who the next bond should be?

Matt Damon? wink.gif He's already played Jason Bourne really well biggrin.gif

Thats such a tough call! A personal fav of mine was Roger Moore, and then Sean Conery.

I think that movie, xXx, will beat James Bond in the box office. xXx is geared more towards the teen market, and we all that's where the money is. Anyways, I won't see either one, and I didn't see the last 4 or 5 bond movies, so this one doesn't interest me neither.

It may gross more, but that movies gonna suck soooo bad. Its trying to combine james bond with rambo with extreme sports with sex appeal. What this adds up to is no story line of worth what so ever!

Roger Moore!! He's the anti-Bond!! Sean Connery is 007, period.

And R is going to do just fine, because John Cleese can make anything funny smile.gif

xXX might be okay but aculaud is right. Pretty much its going to be like fast and the furious.

I think R will do just fine. Theyll figure something out. Whens this supposed to come out anyways?

Hahah, I just read this review of xXx from a guy who seen the movie at an advance screening.

"Jesus Christ. Watching XXX felt like a sin. Not because there is many love making scenes in it, not because of the vulgar language used, but just becaues it sucked. Bad. Anyone who was associated with this movie should be shot with that gun that Vin Diesel uses at the end of the movie. Although Samuel L. Jackson did manage to pull off a semi-good performance, the acting everywhere else was horrible. Vin Diesel should be condemned to cavemen parts now because he only knows about 4 words in the english language, or so it seemed. There was hardly any plot at all, just a lot of things blowing up and Vin Diesel getting laid. Not only was there an unnescisary amount of things exploding but it ran too long. I wanted the movie to end many times. And I almost cried at the end...

a lot do. from top of my head, Fred savage from 'Wonder years' now has bachelors degree in English from Stanford. and the girl who played Fred's girlfriend in the show got her bachelors in Mathematics with highest latin honor from UCLA.

EDIT: also, that nerdy kid from the show has bachelors in Political Science from Yale.

although not English degree, here are some other actors that I know of

steve martin: bachelors in philsophy(Cal State Long beach?)

David Duchovny: was a thesis short from phD(from yale)

Mr. Bean: phD in Electrical Engineering.

Heather Locklear: bachelors from UCLA(don't know about major)

David Letterman: Ball state Univ(?)-same college as 'Garfield' creator Jim Davis.

Vin Diesel is a great actor- as long as you make sure he doesnt have too many lines, and dies a quarter of the way through the movie. Thats why I love SPR smile.gif

Ever seen Pitch Black? He had a lead role in that, and i didnt think he was too bad at all. A lot of potentially good actors just get really bad roles sometimes confused.gif
