Any possibility of you guys making a aimpoint reflex red dot? Like this one from the Arma 2 Mk18 from Arma 2

I remember you saying BIS isn't utilizing their attachment system as well as they could (which I agree with), and that you'd like to get the top-mounted PEQ box and a side-mounted flashlight at the same time. As a workaround, would it be possible to make a single attachment comprised of both objects while only having one active? Two could then be made (one for laser, one for light) and swapped out for differing affect, if the theory holds. The rifle could take on the appearance of both attachments though the current swap system will remain unchanged.

I agree , a system with laser on top and flashlight on side in same time would be so great :)

The center bolts on the receiver end (side facing the player) of the DD rail on both the left and right side are doubled-up and overlapping. If you look close you can see that the extra one is slightly offset from the other, but they're basically in the same position.

Oh no, the sky is the limit when it comes to guns IRL. There are SOPMOD Kits and the colors are limitless. If you got the paint then it can be done

So more less like what it was in Arma 2?

Idk I am quite fond of the Daniel Defense Tan RAIL sabre has used for these.. But I'm sure Ardvark would add a black variant. I think their goal for this is to add as few varients as possible from what was in the Arma 2 pack. In Arma 2 there was like 20 of them, in arma 3 there will probably be more like maybe 12 at most im guessing (GL Variants and GL Magpul included)

EDIT: Also, Sabre just qq, did you make a Desert Camo variant of that magpu?

Rock, I'm just asking if the standard version of the gun can have black rails and black iron sights. Keep the desert accessories to the desert/tan variant. I dont know what you're talking about, lol

I'm just confused by your question But i think your saying you want ALL the black mk18's to have black sights and rails and deserts to have tan. I understand now

EDIT: After Looking through images of that scoped you linked. I believe you were correct. I Didn't take into consideration the different mounting types until I noticed:

Please, please, please move that AFG forward on the rail. Placing it at a mid-point defeats its purpose, I think. This may sound ridiculous (because it sort of is), but that's the reason I will not use the full-length MX if I can help it. The front tip of the AFG should be in line with the end of the rail near the muzzle.

And to clarify: this post should be read as an opinion and not a final word in weapons handling.

Other than that one nit-pick - Beautiful work!

I can't recall were, but there was a former SEAL was saying they got to play around with the standalone FN EGLM's to replace their M79's in Afghanistan, they said by the time they got half way through thier tour most of the EGLM's were broken to a point it wasn't worth ordering parts to fix while other's would have issues with reliability and construction, in the end they went back to the M79's they'd been using since they'd arrived in Afghan and never bothered ordering any beyond the testing units they had.
