Available Vehicles

Hi guys, I'm just getting started creating missions and I'm wondering where all the vehicles are.

I'm following the excellent series of tutorials (I would have linked to it, but this is my first post) by MacScottie and I've noticed on the video when he is placing vehicles on the map there are a lot more vehicles on his list than on mine.

On my mission editor, the only vehicles available are the Hunter, the Hunter HMG, the Hunter GMG and the Quadbike.

As a side note, I also noticed that the Iranian flag he uses isn't available on my editor.

Am I missing something here? Are there some files I need to download or import in order to get other content?

There are 2 versions of Apha, Dev version and normal. Could be this, or could be because BIS are constantly adding removing things. I have offroad as well in my Dev version.

Hunter\atv = blufor vehicles

ifrit\atv = opfor

offroad = civies

was he using empty vehicle ?

was he using mods (all in arma\glt)?

Thanks guys, looking at it it seems I forgot about the fact it is in alpha after all, things have been moving and changing a lot!

I think the latest update - I'm on 0.56.104778 - seems to have removed my preview and continue buttons from the editor. Weird.

You need to place an unit and set is as playable before you can run the mission, also you need to save your mission before you can play it if you are running MP mode.

That was indeed the problem, I'd forgotten to make a unit playable.

I guess that's why they call them noob errors! Thanks for your replies, guys. Really appreciated.
