F Keys

I am Very Confused here and i will admit i am new to PC gaming so I don't know what I've done but My F keys in-game will not.. they will change my PC's settings and I am not quite to sure what i have done can somebody help me.

No its a regular Keyboard that you would get with the tower

There's probably a 'Mode' button some where.

Try unplugin/removing batteries the keyboard while the computer is on.

Then put it back. That might reset it.

Look up the term 'F Lock'. Also, look for a key that says F Lock; perhaps pressing that and the windows key? Don't worry, you'll figure it out.

F keys as in F1,F2,F3....I don't think are used in A3.

Make sure you don't have F-Lock on your keyboard, also go through and press you modifier keys (Alt, Fn) and make sure they are working properly. Some times a key can be stuck without the key being physically stuck down.

if your keyboard uses the F keys to control thing like volume and stuff, you need to change the f lock settings in the BIOS (this is the only way, its a motherboard setting, not software)

they are used and have always been used in OFP\Arma I, II and III to choose individual members of your team (if you are team leader).

Try:

As the system is booting hit F2 to go to Setup. From there click 'System Configuration' then 'Function Key Behavior'. Switch to 'Fuction Key First' then hit the 'Apply' box, then 'Exit'.
