[Template ArmA 3] for file "squad.xml"

Recommended Posts

- I created a new template for the file "squad.xml". It allows to display the file in the browser to display information about the team but also all members of the squad.

- The old template available on the wiki BIS did not display enough information (although they are visible via the browser by reading the file) and use the entire width of the screen.

- It's a litte update of my template for ArmA 2.

- The template work fine in Chrome / Firefox and Opera.

The template is available in download here: http://www.grif-touch.com/2967/arma-3-template-pour-le-squad-xml/

PS: Sorry for my English, I'm French

I'm getting the tags and everything working but I'm not getting the logo to show up properly. Any suggestions.

you need to be a bit more specific, have you placed the logo in your folder called it logo.paa (convert with texview2), and also named it logo.paa in the squad.xml picture?

If you want me to take a look im more than happy to.

is it showing up on vehicles?

If not then its possible you haven't changed the either the file name and the xml file name, its also possible that you haven't converted the file into a paa format.

there might be an issue with the sizing then, it needs to be exactly 512x512

Hiding the UID's would be a nice touch, Tried 512 from 256 and still see no image in MP profile.

aye ill send via PM :) @SnR are you sure you are using paa? you need to convert a png to paa using TexView2

Another issue could be that you have missed a piece of code in the squad.xml?

<picture></picture> <<<it needs to be exactly as thus

With dales help i have found an issue with the the title of my users directory. This title is causing a continuous error and xml issues.

Error position: <\Users\S > Error Invalid number in expression
Unknown entity: ' T\AppData\Local\Arma 3 Alpha\squads\AEF\aef.paa' /><br/><img image='#(argb,8,8,3)color(1,1,1,0.1)' height='1' width='640' /><br /><font color='#99ffffff' face='PuristaLight'>Ping:</font> 249 253 263<br/><font color='#99ffffff' face='PuristaLight'>Bandwidth:</font> 344 668 1505<br/><font color='#99ffffff' face='PuristaLight'>Desync:</font> 0<br/>'
Error in expression <C:\Users\S >
 Error position: <\Users\S >
 Error Invalid number in expression

Mind you this is the same directory i had with Arma 2 with no issue. C:\Users\S & T\AppData\Local\Arma 3 Alpha

My question is how do i change the title of a folder (S&T) that is windows locked down (secure)
