skadog 0 Posted March 7, 2013 My only really hiccups with preformance have been while driving. At these moments, the CPU will spike up 100%. I'm wondering if it's related to PhysX. To test this I'm wondering if this can be disabled. I didn's see a setting, so maybe there is a switch I can use or a console command.

skadog 0 Posted March 9, 2013 Thanks Marksman, that helped immensely! I still get more lag in vehicles than on foot or in the air, but it's better.
k3lt 3 Posted March 9, 2013 PhysX cannot be disabled as it's integral part of the engine
mordeaniischaos 3 Posted March 9, 2013 PhysX is just the physics engine, it shouldn't give you any trouble. It's not like some other games were physx enables crazy detailed particle stuff, it's just basic physics stuff.
TG Marksman X 10 Posted March 9, 2013 Thanks Marksman, that helped immensely! I still get more lag in vehicles than on foot or in the air, but it's better. No problem.
max power 21 Posted March 9, 2013 Asked and answered. Vehicle lag can be caused by your pip settings, and there is no way to disable physx.
