I've spent some time over the last few days on the Americas Army forums.  And I dont know what it is, but the people here generally seem to be more intelligent and literate.  There are a couple of topics where one guy always gets flamed because he posts rational and intelligent comments.   Actually, he sort of reminds me of Denoir  

Any ideas why?  Anyone else experience this same sort of feelings in comparison to other forums?

Upper Middle Class

This is the only gaming forum that I belong to besides the @War forum, which is generally not very busy, so I don't go there much. People are way to immature at other ones and I hate l33t CS lingo. Those guys never last more than a couple days here. Anyone remember that kid BLARG!Attack? What a moron.

I play a lot of flight sims and the people in the other forums (frugals world, simhq) are pretty mature. Action games like CS and others tend to have terrible forums. I'd say OFP is in the middle. A lot of mature people, but there is an element of idioticy that pops up once and awhile, but these forums are well managed, so it is controlled. Look at the GR board. It has way more wnakers there than here

This is really the first and only forum ive ever joined and its the best one. I did read a little bit at the AA forum for like 30 seconds then just came back here. Anyone in CZ's forum? Gosh that place seems like a ghost town to me. No where as good as this.

Well i suppose we can't say much about this forum's history, especially if you remember all the spam there was here. That was until all the OFPN came along and wiped out (hmmm... i know there is some irony in that last sentence) all the spam.

Warin- yes i kind of feel the same, i think this forum has about the right balance of having some maturity whilst still being light hearted and interesting (hell occasionally it even makes me think   )

(uh oh -now ive jinxed it, it will probably be overwhelmed with brats)

Other forums i visit always seem either deserted ,overcrowded (with fools) boring, or hostile (constant flame wars etc)

I like this forum. I'm also active on the MMGN forums and sometimes its hard because I am one of the most intelluctal people there.

Ya me! Pretty bad huh...

It's hard to have a good discussion with anyone.
