muzzmuzz 1 Posted July 8, 2002 This is probabley a problem to do with number of programs you are running in the back ground and the drivers you are using. Firstly graphics card drivers will really effect the performance of the game so try and get the latest ones! next turn of any things in the systray and back ground you don't! This might help if not try a scan disk and defrag! If you could post your whole spec and your bros maybe we could help more!

Mister Frag 0 Posted July 8, 2002 Many Athlon-based systems are built around VIA chipsets, and on these systems, it is imperative to install the VIA 4-in-1 drivers for best stability and performance. If your motherboard uses a VIA chipset, go HERE to download the 4-in-1 drivers.
Adammo 0 Posted July 9, 2002 Mine was also jerky once i removed my 512 megs ram and put in 300 megs... (the 512 went over to my game server.) This is how I got mine to stop being jerky with 300 megs RAM. 1. defragged the drive 2. set swap file to OFF 3. reboot 4. set swap file to manual 768 megs max and 768 megs min. 5. rebooot and that solved the problem for me.
