Antmf 1 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) Hey guys, I looked at some you tube videos and this game looks great. Just wanted to know from a mature stand point how this game is. I tried some xbox fps and man the kids there are a pain lol. Anyways, just wanted to know is this game an FPS and or a simulation and how realistic is it. Sorry for the noob questions but I do not know to much about this game. Thanks all... P.S. Which DLC is a must? Thanks again... Ezcoo 47 Posted January 22, 2013 Hi mate, the best thing in ArmA is that – thanks to the moddability of the game – you have insane amount of different kinds of content generated by community that you can choose from. Hardcore simulation, deathmatch, capture the island, player vs. player, team vs. team, roleplay, survival, WW2 warfare etc. and countless number of aforesaid mixed that can be played in closed communities, on public servers or as singleplayer missions and campaigns – anything that you can imagine and even more. It's up to you to select what kind of content and how do you want to play. :) Arma II: Combined Operations is a must (it's basically ArmA II & ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead combined). I don't have other DLCs so no comment about them.
Tankbuster 1747 Posted January 22, 2013 First of all, you should get Combined Operations. That is, Arma2 and Arrowhead combined. The DLCs? In my opinion your should get them all, but if you want to save a little, you should buy them in this order: BAF, PMC, ACR.

metalcraze 290 Posted January 23, 2013 Get ArmA2 Combined Operations (ArmA2 + ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead) and BAF DLC The two remaining DLCs are crappy and you should get them only if you feel like collecting all the ArmA stuff.
