Actually its not ignorance on the side of Russians but suprisingly on the side of the Americans (not all of them) actually some dont know the cold war ended and just growing up called a pinko commie bastard does tend to upset one.( I would know) Its not from every one just from some guys but it still strikes a nerve. I mean my father was a loyal communist, served in the Navy, my mother was a communist, half my family was killed in world war two battling for Russia and just being called a commie as a derogatory remark is the same as calling a new yorker a damn yank. I dont mean to rant and rave, I am trying to be sensible about this. I know its fun to poke at other countries and politics but when it comes to be personal it does tend to intrude on ones feelings. I just want to avoid the rompin stompin red ass ruskie bull and discuss whats on the topic so can we just move on? Its no big deal but just keep it to a minimum, okay?

Damn, I never realized how hard texturing is. I cant do this crap. I feel like the people who make the addons are f'in genious. I beg of you please for the love of god please re-texture the f-16 to be a USAF version. I simply cant do this crap. LoL I can't beleive u guys can do this stuff this is truly amazing and very time consuming. By the way Scorpio, did you see the textures for the mig? I think it would be better than the green and grey textures. Also the way I would like the textures of the F-16 is the same as the textures on my post at page 7 PS: please reply dont just ignore me, and me and the ofp community would like this F-16 to be as realisticly textured as possible as an USAF fighter. Your work and effort doesn't go unoticed. . Also what did you think of the textures of the mig? R u gonna change em?

I just had an idea for a soviet SAM how abot a SA-9? It would be easy to make, plus it fires the strela missle, the AA missle for the soviets. Here is a picture of 1 go to http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/sa-9.htm fo more pictures and info. So? What do u guys think about this for a soviet SAM?

You're right though, I'll have to stop handling raw meat. I'm not normally this touchy. I apologise to all the people I've offended with my comments, But I have my reasons for believing what I do. Not ideological, but personal.

National Socialism is just as valid a political theory as Communism. They both form totalitarian regimes, The Soviet Union's camps killed far more people than Hitler's.

Political theory and reality are often far distant from each other.

well im pretty young so i may be totally wrong but anyway....surely if you are a communist its no different to being a hindu or a buddhist, its what you belive in, if you belive capitalism is the right way noone else can say its wrong unless it becomes illegal or severely evil, but calling someone a yankee is different than calling someone a commie because yankee is what people from america are referred to as, im from england if someone called me a limey i wouldnt mind, but someone from russia isnt nessecerily a communist so i think calling them a commie probably isnt the best way to go about it, the cold war's over gentlemen

My father never made it back home, except for a couple of short holidays after the communists collapsed.

But show me any country where it has worked? In modern times the countries are at best just plain poor, at worst Communism provides opportunities for people like Pohl Pot.
