Mladja-ArmASerbia 3 Posted January 10, 2013 I attached the part of my body armor to soldier, on spine, spine1, spine 1 etc.... But vertex on body armor are red while the vertexs on soldier are blue. Then in game part of body armor don't moveing with the parts of soldier as shoulder, stomach, etc .... Anyone know how to solve that? Mean vertex on body armor to be blue like these on soldier. I supposed that is problem.
max power 21 Posted January 10, 2013 You have to make the new vertices part of the named selection of an animation bone. Figure out which is the best spine (or other bone) to attach your pouch to, then select it, then ctrl+click on the named selection in the named selection browser, then right click on it and choose 'redefine'. PuFu 4600 Posted January 10, 2013 did you weight the armor model like the main body is weighted?

max power 21 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) Oh, okay. I read that those points weren't moving at all with the body of the soldier. Well, you basically do what I suggested earlier, but weight the vertices partially one named selection and partially in another. You can control this by selecting some geo and right clicking in the named selection browser and choosing 'weights'. I copied your vest model to a2 soldier and then i get spine1 from your vest and Spine1 from A2 soldier. I must to delete spine1 but didn't know how to weigth vest again to Spine1. :) @PuFu, Max Power Thanks.
