Switch from 1st person to 3rd person

Hey Fellas,

So I'm learning how to play this game from the key pad which i'm starting to like a lot but I'm running into some problems.

1. How to i change from 1st person to 3rd person?

(I'm doing boot camp and its askng me to use: Enter & [NUM]. I'm on a laptop so i don't have the [NUM]. I also saw on youtube to try: Enter & FN but that doesn't work either.)

2. How do you switch weapons, ie: going from Rifle to hand gun?

Note: So since I'm playing on laptop all the [NUM] commands will not work so what replaces them????

You change weapons mainly by scrolling the mouse wheel to choose the user action. Note that you must actually have a handgun to switch to :)

As for the 1st/3rd person control, if you don't have the NUM key I guess you will need to go into control options & remap it to something you do have. Combo keys are allowed so you can use CTRL + [whatever key] if you're low on spare keys.

When I have a new game I always play it for three minutes with the default settings, then I spend an hour to read and configure graphics and controls. Sorry for being an [insert name here], but I never understand why people ask how to get things to work that can be configured in detail on one's own... :p

Nah your not the only one, I always go video, audio, and then controls when I get a new game which is never with Arma2CO, but I use

the same setup for controls for every game, and then some games have like an extra control, or feature so you add that into the mix of what you normally use.

First thing I always do in a new FPS game is stare at the sky, stare at the floor, repeat.

Second thing I do is I go into control options and switch reverse mouse Y-axis on :)
