MAVEN 1 Posted December 26, 2012 I decided to buy ArmA X or at least CO, since I gave my OA copy to a friend a year ago. However, I am working abroad, and I'm not home (Russia) where I could open a regular bank account and purchase the game bundle without a problem. Where I work at the moment, the situation is different. I can't open a new bank account without waiting in a very long queue, and even worse, I can't trust employees here. So I would like to know, are there any alternate pay methods in BI store I could use or maybe on other game selling sites? Some examples (preferred): >Pay by SMS (I can buy a sim card, top its credits and buy the game bundle then dump the sim card) >Pay by any other means that don't involve bank accounts or sensitive information taken in order to purchase the game. All help much appreciated :) If I however don't find an alternate method, then I will have to wait until I get home, which is not ideal solution though... MAVEN 1 Posted December 26, 2012 What do you mean by "cash" Charles? Id prefer a digital copy I can always download from the store though. Both PayPal and Moneybookers are great. Been using them for years, but, I can't use them where I am now, even remotely it's risky because it involves bank accounts and on top of that there's waiting time (few days by default, would take weeks for this situation lol). Hmm, maybe that could work. though I'm sure finding ArmA X in retail is going to be a tough task. I will give it a try. As for PayPal accounts, I could ask my colleagues, friends or even family members, but the thing is, I don't want to risk anybody's information over a game bundle. If needed I will rather wait until I get home. The reason why I would like to get A2X or A2CO sooner is because it's holiday season, which means that I have a bit more free time for games unlike other time of the year where I'm often very busy working, traveling and doing other boring stuff. My friends are on holidays as well, so this is an opportunity for some epic CO-OP fun. Edit: I just asked my colleague who is from the country where I work at the moment to try find me retail copies of either A2X or A2CO. Meantime, I found something that would do the job perfectly. Steam supports MoPay (Mobile Payments - http://www.mopay.com/en/) however I've never used steam to purchase games, so would like to ask those who are steam users - How does MoPay work with steam and can you give me a list of countries that steam supports via MoPay? I don't have steam yet, which means I will need to make an account (not a problem though, can take just a few minutes) If it's a free gift, I think I can't accept it, because money isn't a problem for me and I generally don't like to take gifts without giving something in return (either money or a gift back).
