HMMVW glass shields are rendered unbreakable since OA

Recommended Posts

I noticed this when I began playing ArmA II 1.11 again in SP and MP because of the missing features for USMC and Russians in OA. (A.I. conversation and observation reports, greeting and weather report from A.I. broken in OA.)

In 1.11 you can easily blind the driver of a HMMWV because the windshield will become splintered but remain in the frame after a few hits.

In OA, all versiosn so far, the windshield will only begin to splinter when so much dmage is doen to the car that is is alreay unoperable.

All other vehicles in OA still show splintring windscreens so it is onyl the HMMWV that has unbreakable Windshields.

This should definately be brought back to work like in 1.11

Dev-heaven ticket time
Im a bit tired of Dev heaven, all that happen there is that version numbers for real big problems like the Missile warning bug are postponed for almost a year now.

Oh how can you say that? The game was completely broken and unplayable until they fixed setmimic. Accusations they leave big problems for years and fix the stupid tiny ones that nobody gives a toss about are clearly unfounded!

Oh, Irony! Today was the day I decided to say "Hey, lets break some glass in this crash". Either all there or not there at all, no spiderwebby. Alas.
