RMcE 1 Posted October 7, 2012 Hello, I'm part way through a strategy game and have colonised 5-6 neutral islands and captured 2 from the enemy. Does anyone have any idea how I can do research to get better weapons and components. Also, does anyone know what fits onto slto two on a walrus? I've not found anything yet. Thanks! Scepticer 1 Posted October 7, 2012 As far as I know you have all the blueprints there are from the start in the strategy mode. It would have been good though to start with less blueprints and find more in research centers like in the Campaign mode. However, it would also have made the difficulty balancing towards the enemy carrier more difficult I guess... Haven't seen anything that fits into walrus slot 2. Gnrl_Grad 1 Posted October 7, 2012 Having to hack research centres and build up your arsenal like in the campaign might make the strategy even more interesting. species1571 65 Posted October 7, 2012 All the research is already done in strategy mode, you just need to collect the materials and have each weapon produced and shipped. Research centers are not hackable in strategy mode, but other buildings like refineries and factories are hackable and will reward you with an item, meaning less that you have to make.
