Destroyed pier, island no longer connected to supply lines

While trying to capture one island, Nemesis, I was testing the newly rebuilt Main gun (Plasma Cannon) on my carrier.

I used to to destroy the Pier on the island.

After capturing the island and 4 others since then, the island are still not shown as connected to any other island.

There are no supply lines connected to it.

I have checked the island and the pier has indeed been rebuilt, so why is it not connected to the rest of the supply network?

Or is it connected and just dont show up on the map?

The Pier is what connects them, but it will rebuild over a long amount of time.

Yes - but as he said "has indeed been rebuilt" - visually I guess. The question is, how can you see if it has really been rebuilt? My thinking is, that the buildings are just visually rebuilt but islands get connected later... (when?)

It has been rebuilt, and I have since then taken another 4 islands.

So why is there still no connection?

How long does it take to get reconnected?

Ok, I have to captured all available islands up to and including Fulcrum, in campaign mode.

The Connection to Nemesis island are still not visible.

Is the island connected to the rest of the island network?

If not, how much longer do I have to wait for it to connect?

You can test to see if its connected by swapping factory/mining and see if it effects your production numbers.
