max power 21 Posted October 7, 2012 Happens all the time with film noir :) Is that dialogue or narrative? For instance, I can write dialogue of a character narrating his actions in second person, while having the narrative of the story in third.
maddogx 13 Posted October 8, 2012 Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I'm pretty sure the Zork games were in second person. :D
onlyrazor 11 Posted October 8, 2012 Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I'm pretty sure the Zork games were in second person. :D Any game that involves a: "This is your story" or "Your settlement has crumbled to dust" could be construed as a second person game. max power 21 Posted October 8, 2012 I'm not so sure. Notifications aren't necessarily narrative. In text games, second person narrative is very common. In games with a camera, though, it's more complicated. For instance, I wonder what you would classify an early rpg or adventure game with a camera but also contextual descriptions. Is it a constantly switching narrative, depending on which window the player is looking?
