Korea beats Italy... but I highly doubt if US can beat Germany.... anyway, from whta I heard, Italy didn't have great time b4 games either. a 30cm long snake(non-poisonous) was found in their residence the day b4 games. and i'm the only one who voted for Brazil again? Sadico 1 Posted June 18, 2002 I saw the whole match, man. We had bad luck, because everytime Raul or Morientes were going to score, offside!!! The goddamn referee really wanted Ireland to win! Guest Posted June 18, 2002 I am hoping for Senegal or Korea, since I don't know any people of that nationality. That makes Sweden's loss much easier to bear. Anyway, did you see the Korean supporters picking up the trash and cleaning up the stadium? Amazing. Warin 0 Posted June 18, 2002 Freak accident in Calcutta A 25-year-old man died when he slipped off the platform while watching the U.S.-Mexico game on an overhead television set and was hit by a speeding train in Calcutta, India. Aveek Tarafdar was standing near the edge of the platform when he lost his balance and fell on the railroad tracks. He tried to climb back, but was hit by the train. I hope England wins. The US will likely get killed by Germany. They were outplayed for the most part by Mexico, Mexico just couldnt manage to score.
