Snowflake 0 Posted June 15, 2002 Hi folks I have two squad members which share the computer and ofp, so they have the same player ID. If I enter the second player into my squad.xml and he connects to a server only the general information (name, email...) of the other squad member having the same id is shown. he has no tags is there any way to allow two players with same id to play in same squad (except buying another copy of ofp ) best regards snowflake
Placebo 29 Posted June 15, 2002 I'll move this one to MP for now as it will get more attention there

If you are sharing the same copy of the OFP, you also share your online ID number.
Snowflake 0 Posted June 16, 2002 thx suma for answering the question although i don't like the answer let's see if the clanmembership is worth buying a copy of ofp best regards snowflake btw great game
Lt_Damage 0 Posted June 16, 2002 I think it is definately worth getting a copy. I have two copies of OFP as when I get a second computer my roommate wants to play. I think I've already discovered this doesn't work but I'll bounce the idea around anyway.. If you create a seperate squad.xml just for him and store it in another directory in the same webspace he might be able to have a seperate profile..
Snowflake 0 Posted June 17, 2002 Yes sure OFP is worth the money you spend Thx your idea it's worth a try. unless he doesn't have his own pc, he doesn't need a second copy of the game - just staring at the cd isn't that funny best regards snowflake
