whats with all the discussion in this thread.. this thread of for announcements about the Alpha, nothing more! this crap is starting to piss me off.. every time i check the forum for news, it's just more off topic dribble in this thread.

Topic locked. There will be no alpha before December. When there is news or any other kind of announcement, we can reopen discussion.

This is not an official announcement of BI's release schedule. I have only the same information everyone else in the community has. This was an announcement made by Ivan at Gamescon to the press.

So, what we can glean from this is:

a) Ivan stated a while ago that the plans for this alpha had shifted to December.

b) Ivan himself made this statement at Gamescon, so this obviously has nothing to do with the current situation in Greece.
