Does BAF/PMC from Steam work with non-Steam A2/OA?

Hi,

I see Steam propose intersting offer

I'm interested by British Armed Forces (BAF) add-on at 4.49€

But my current installation is Arma 2 + Arrowhead, and it's from normal DVD (NOT Steam)

So, can I buy (BAF) through Steam or is it incompatible ?

Right, as said Dwarden you need to have Op. Arrowhead on Steam to be able to buy BAF or PMC

wrong - you do not need to have it on steam.

just re read this thread , i bought arma X , i never needed to install oa or arma 2 as i had them on retail dvd , i downloaded baf and pmc and they installed into the origional game folder without a hitch. looks as if steam downloads the installers and installs wherever the origional game content is.

STEAM will not allow You to buy DLC from STEAM if You don't own OA first on STEAM account ...

that's what i tried to explain
